My tribe and network is global after working for three decades on a local, national and international level. I’m also a college graduate from Howard University and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and so I am a part of a large community. I connect with hundreds of people regularly in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, and people who are writers, artists, political commentators, and those working in industries like beauty, fashion, real estate, technology, finance, cuisine and more. Below you will find photos of me in the top left with Ana Olivera, CEO of The New York Women's Foundation; top middle with Jacqueline Woodson, award winning author; and fists in the air with Katherine Acey, my mentor and former Executive Director of the Astraea Foundation. Several photos highlight me proudly speaking to guests as a Board Member of the American LGBTQ Museum, and attending other speaking engagements and events like the Human Rights Campaigns gala with friends in New York City. Two of my favorite photos are with my longtime friend Keith Boykin, author and political commentator, where I am holding his latest book: Why Does Everything Have to Be About Race? And the lovely group picture at the bottom with my dear friend, Jodie Patterson, social advocate, author and influencer, who hosted a beautiful event at the flagship Prada store where she was in conversation with the brilliant activist Raquel Willis.
I am a cultivator, connector and bridge builder who loves to be with people who believe in a world where we all have the opportunity to shine and thrive.
